Well that was a lot less painful than I expected! Took just a few minutes to migrate from the emacs.ch instance to bsd.cafe.
Plus I took the opportunity to change my avatar; I commissioned it a while ago from a friend's 12 year old daughter. She just completed a digital version, so that's what I'm now using.
