Jean Jacques Rousseau, despite being famously known for inspiring the French Revolution with his writings, was actually Swiss. As a teenager he came back late one day and the gates to his town were closed, so he wandered until he stumbled upon a lady who took him in, raised him, and eventually took his virginity.
