Met the new neighbors, they seem nice. They also mentioned that we have bears in the neighborhood, including a pair of cubs who were seen the other day and a mountain lion who was by our yard last night. Apparently, the bears are just looking for trash. So I guess I don’t need to worry about raccoons in the trash? Yay???
But they said that our dogs should be able to scare the bears off, so that’s good anyway.
Not much to be done about the mountain lion though, except to keep an eye on Hankdog
