Fantastic interview of Russian-Chechen general Apti Alaudinov with Russian military blogger Mikhail Kalashnikov who speak of… looting. Very openly they admit that “everyone” in Russian forces looted everything from occupied territories of Ukraine. Alaudinov says his unit (“Akhmat”) didn’t, but then he reached the peak of childish hypocrisy by saying “nobody stopped us” when talking about transporting stolen goods from Ukraine - meaning Russian police didn’t stop them, so it doesn’t count as theft.
Then they both switch to complaining about theft in Russian army, which results in Russian soldiers not having decent equipment or even clothes, and none of them sees any causal link between these two behaviours. You won’t find any better insight into the minds of modern #Russia orcs than this one.
