This is a great idea that some should try. Profile “skins” and badges based on project support would be really interesting. Could revive badges too if they could be given/taken based on a length of time or status of support for a certain project or client.
This is a social network, I think exploring ways to monetize social signaling is actually a smart strategy.
Between Zap splits, Premium accounts, and ideas like “skins,” I really think there *must* be a viable monetization strategy for an engaged community here.
