While many aspects of Western democratic systems are problematic and checkered. Until quite recently, the massive success of public health initiatives, such as childhood inoculation, has been an overwhelming, indisputable, quantifiable success. Childhood morality plummeted.
It is not in the interest of authoritarian forces to have this positive exemplar of what a real, successful social contract between a people and its government looks like hanging around. It must be erased. 2/
