I though I can ignore it, but I can't.
I maintain open source projects for a long time and invest a lot of work and time to get them right.
But seeing new issues rewarded with bounties is pissing me off.
(This is especially bad in that one case where the bounty got closed out with a copy of my own code.) Yes, the bounties trigger a faster development, but it also overwhelms me. I can't cope with all the additional maintenance work. At least not in the quality I'd like.
