I get it, #nAuth might seem overly intense, but I built the protocol based on what I wanted for #nostr #safebox and more importantly what I didn't want from the legacy protocols of OAuth, OIDC and the the newer protocols OID4VC and OID4VP
The key advances are due to two characteristics of the #nostr protocols that did not exist in earlier times. 1) a native cryptographic identifier/address (npub) and, 2) the relay architecture. With those two characteristics, I could build an entirely new protocol, leaving the legacy stuff behind.
The proof is in the pudding on what I have built/am building with #nostr #safebox, becoming a full-fledged, decentralized alternative to all those digital identity/credentia and digital payment wallets. Digital payment is now done, and the digital credentials is now in the finishing stretches.
