>private bureaucracy makes healthcare access less efficient
>seriously do you not know what is happening in the United States right now as a direct result of privatized healthcare?
And you think that a goverment solution is better?
That's is factually wrong dude. The US goverment is the most bureaucratic things here.
It also doesn't solve the main issue of any insurance company, which is determining payments of claims.
Having your pool saved up eliminates this.
It's your money you have saved for this moment.
Goverment intervention leads for insurance companies looking for exploits to save on money.
Finding institutions in network just so they can cover costs on their own funded equipment is completely dumb.
The way that insurance is supplied by job bebefits with little to no choice is also extremely dumb.
Which btw this was encouraged by the US goverment.
So with that said if you want to look at a complete goverment control then look at the fucking disaster that is the Canadian healthcare system.
No one in Canada is happy about it, and lead has many to die waiting for goverment approval or forcing them to travel quite the distance to go to a specialist.
I'm more than happy to tag leaf friends to tell you about how much of bad idea that was.
