Family gathering this week. Lots of people I don't see often. Lots of sad looks and sympathy. Really quite wearing.

Uncle: Nice to see you! You get yourself sorted.

Me: That's not going to happen.

Uncle: Be positive!

Me: I am. I could wait around for a miracle that probably won't happen, or I could live the life I have. I choose to live.

I'll keep saying the same thing until people listen.
