Not every wallet will allow you to specifically select which UTXO you are spending and if it's a lightning app, which channel you're spending from. This is a problem when you consider that every BTC spend is considered a "disposition" and is therefore a capital gains/loss tax reporting event.
I don't think that most are aware of this...
