I simply use it as another mirror from my own git server. I like it for that. It seems clean and they seem to be working pretty hard to compete with GitHub, but as other's have expressed, they are bringing politics into their product, so I don't intend to use it anymore than a mirror. They're built on https://forgejo.org/ which you can self host if you like the actual product part.

I use OneDev for internal development with CI jobs that push code to GitHub and Codeberg because they are the more popular right now imo. I also have https://git.vaughnnugent.com which mirrors my git but on my own servers.

And um... I handle patches via email for now XD
