In the Summer of 1996, I happened to be working at the Baylor Debate Institute when, because of serendipitous timing, the camp held the first-ever dance on the Baylor campus. All the big media networks were there for live coverage of the momentous occasion (of watching high-school debaters awkwardly sway near music).
27 years later, Liberty University has banned dancing on campus.
We are headed in the wrong direction. SMDH.
