Deleting notes is impossible, they say, and it depends on relays whether they comply with this request and, above all, how they comply. The NIP-09 (https://nostr-nips.com/nip-09) is responsible for deleting an event, which makes a lot of recommendations. Whether clients and relays implement these fully is anyone's guess. Sometimes it's physically deleted, sometimes it's just marked for deletion and not displayed... come to terms with it: what's on the internet stays on the internet.

However, you can try a few things and at least make them invisible on the largest and most popular clients and relays. For example, only using relays that support NIP-09 would be a step. Yakihonne shows your used relays in the settings, and if you click on it, you can also see if, for example, NIP-09 is supported.

You can choose your Nostr relays, that support NIP-09, from this list for example: https://nostr.petrkr.net/relays.htm

Only a few clients support deletion from the GUI, but you can also use tools like https://delete.nostr.com/ and https://nostr-delete.vercel.app/. They do a relatively good job.

If you are using nostr.build as your media service, you can delete your uploaded media here: https://nostr.build/delete/
