You can't use it for dense facial hair. Light skin, dark hair has the best results. Pain is like a rubber band snapping against your skin. Heat builds quickly, have a fan nearby to help cool down. You can use a lower setting if too much! IPL doesn't increase chance of cancer AFAIK, but your skin may be more sensitive after a session - use SPF 50 for a couple of days after.",
