Isaacson isn't Bob Woodward, whose books were replete with jaw-dropping scoops that would have been vital news had they been revealed when the author got the information. Woodward worked for the Washington Post when he published those, and the Post should have published the news when it mattered.
Isaacson isn't part of a news org. I still think holding Musk's Ukraine action out of public knowledge was wrong.
