Matt Canavan seems to be inventing a situation to attack. I don't think anyone is suggesting that 7% inflation is good.

What's being said is that, given the situation he inherited from his predecessor, AlboMP is doing a reasonable job.

Dumping net zero would not be very logical! The #BabyBoomers have left a complete mess for future generations to clean up & they should not get away with doing none of the work to solve the problems they've left.
