How is a normal person to know that this is not a problem with their settings, but rather with Apple's Private Relay service?

For me, it just started happening today and it took me awhile to connect the dots as to why none of the images in my email were loading.

Also, Apple's status page was hard to find. And for a company that places such a high priority on services these days, that seems kinda dumb.
