When you lose your honor and pride in your work, you risk behaving like someone who accepts anything in exchange for a paycheck. Don’t allow yourself to be humiliated or degraded simply because you’re selling your effort. Always keep the perspective of your ultimate goal and stay true to it. Ultimately, you must value your time deeply rather than letting it be dictated by the needs of others or by mere crumbs.
Do you care as much about your days of life as you do about money? For most of our lives, we allow people, jobs, and daily obligations to impose a hierarchical control over our time and free will. And often, we don’t even stop to ask:
- Cazzo! What am I gaining from this situation?
In this light, all the hardships a common man chooses to endure revolve around the pursuit of money. I ask you: has this trade been fair and equitable in your life? Is your work truly profitable for you? Or is the salary you receive at the end of the month nothing more than a meager bribe to forsake your dreams?
It’s futile to spend most of your day in a job di cazzo, devoid of prospects, to support your famiglia, only to come home stressed and mistreat those you love most.
Davvero, it’s not necessary to love your work as long as it puts money and food on your table. However, the goal is to avoid imbalance. What good is a bountiful table if you don’t have the health to enjoy the feast? What virtue is there in financially supporting your family if you lose the love of your dearest ones?
No great success can justify failure in your own home.
