There seems to be this assumption among some atheists that just because people have faith, they’re therefore less intelligent and more credulous. Because of this assumption, some atheists then assume a superior and snide attitude when discussing matters of faith and addressing people of faith.

For the record, being superior and snide is shitty no matter what side of an argument you’re on. I view these people in the same light in which I view late stage American politico-evangelicals: not worth my time or energy.
