Can’t share this w/out correcting a HUGE mistake, which I’m sure the The Wall Street Journal will correct asap. This isn’t true. There are levels of classification for which Presidents *must* get military/intel to sign off— like that plan to strike Iran, for example (I would assume.)
Otherwise infuriating article with more criminal intent bullshit (called “motive” here), and how the FBI & DOJ did everything they possibly could to avoid searching Mar-a-Lago until Trump essentially put a gun to their head. I hope we eventually hear more from Smith about how they handled Bedminster and the extremely sensitive military intel, but I’m not holding my breath.
