When we visited 🇬🇧 the 1st time, in 1996,* we stayed w/friends in Surrey but also rented a 🚙 & explored as much as we could within our miserly 🇺🇸 vacation allotment…& Devon was our favorite area, followed closely by the Cotswolds. Your lovely photo evokes wonderful memories.
(Sadly, despite every intention to return many more times, life interfered & we’ve only made it back once. Much of that trip was spent in 🏴, w/a brief few days in The Netherlands. Sigh…so much planet, so little ⏳).
