Yesterday, UNRWA, the UN agency that operates in the Gaza Strip, had 97 (!!) trucks full of food stolen as soon as they entered Gaza. Everyone knows that it was an action by Palestinian terrorists from Hamas, but in its notes and statements, the UN did not mention Hamas by name even once.
And today a UNIFIL base, the UN peacekeeping mission in Lebanon, was attacked and several soldiers were injured. And guess what? Once again the UN did not name the terrorists responsible, the Lebanese Hezbollah, saying only that the attackers were “non-state actors.”
When Israel attacked Lebanese terrorists hiding behind a UNIFIL base, injuring a soldier, the UN wasted no time in naming Israel in headlines that went around the world, but now, with Hamas stealing 97 (!!) food trucks in Gaza and Hezbollah attacking a base and injuring peacekeepers, the UN insists on not naming the terrorist groups.
