I wonder how much of the modern wellness movement is simply the latest form of spiritual bypassing. I suspect the tendency to project lifestyle habits as commandments is an obvious tell. The difference between owning & evangelizing one's behavior is no more complicated than "I" and "You" statements.
There's some Nietzscheien quote that fits here, I'm sure. It doesn't matter. Just things I think about when my world is white with winter. 😅
