Apparently folks aren't buying diamond engagement rings as much as usual, and jewelers are worried. Meh. Craig INSISTED on a diamond engagement ring, but I haven't worn it in probably 15 years. For a long time I didn't even wear the band. It was mostly because of sports, but now we both wear silicone wedding bands because they're more comfortable. It's all a racket, & I wish we would have gone with silicone bands, no diamond to begin with.
