I've been #selfhosting navidrome for quite a while now, and I finally started playing with subsonic API apps. Now's the time to ditch Spotify Apple and whatever else you stream music!
If you are unfamiliar, back in the day Subsonic was an awesome #selfhosted internet radio server you could listen to your music from. iirc before it died, it really just played your music like a radio. Now other applications like navidrome support the api and allow clients like Tempo on android to connect and stream your music, podcasts, and radio stations. It has just about everything your used to, you just have to take the time to properly (and legally of course) obtain your music, then start building collections.
