It’s just after 9am right now and my body says: it’s too early. I would probably sleep until 10 or 11am most days if I could. That’s been true my whole life - which made getting to work at 8 or 9am brutal. It doesn’t matter if I get to sleep at 11pm (early) or 2am (usual).
Now I have a dog who insists on going out as soon as it gets light outside. It’s bearable in the winter but summer is awful - even though I go back to sleep.
I need at least 2 hours to feel ready for the day.
