My online banking site login page asks for just a username. When you enter it and click Next it asks for the password.
When I ask my password manager to fill in the form, it inserts the password, not the username.
It turns out it's because they've named the field "bb-username-then-password-input". The password manager reasonably concludes that it's a password field because it has "password" in the name.
