Every time a company undergoes a self-destructive rebranding attempt, I like to imagine it's mostly because they lost some important design materials for the old style. Did an ancient hard drive finally decide to quit, or did somebody drop a USB stick in the toilet? I can't picture why they would willingly make such a choice.
