Four defunct dams on the Klamath River in Northern California and Oregon are being removed this year. For the first time in over 100 years, hundreds of miles of spawning habitat will open up for anadromous fish, including Chinook Salmon and Steelhead. This is one of the largest ecological restoration projects in history.
