Ok, so this might sound crazy, but why does anyone actually *need* to follow Threads from a mastodon instance. Like, if you have an instagram or facebook account, you can already follow any Threads account without putting the moderation load on your mastodon instance moderation team.
So, why? Why would you *need* to see Threads accounts from your community instance? Why not just follow them on Threads? The whole 'must have an instance allow me to follow Threads accounts' thing seems weird.
