The closest supermarket to where we live is a Giant, but I’ll usually go out of my way to go to Safeway, Whole Foods or Wegmans because the Giant is so terrible. I just needed a few fixings for Chili today so decided Giant would be fine — they’ve updated their self check out now to require staff to *review video footage* whenever there’s an item that isn’t properly detected in the bagging area. This happened twice. 🙄 🙄 🙄
