there are several commercial dog-walking businesses in the area I live in it. Some make a big deal of taking the dog out to wonderful places too inconvenient for their owner to easily take the dog. Usually this means two people in a van take a dozen dogs into the cayons, find some place where they think they won't get caught violating leash ordinances, and make a big nuisance of themselves. And about once a year, a dog will die of rattle snake bite.
