Until proven otherwise (credible use of nuclear weapons that can be observed), I am leaning towards the "Nukes are fake" stance.

If we, as people, have access to a tool or a weapon, we usually use it.

Nukes haven't been used as weapons since the extremely suspicious Japan bombings (no independent journalists allowed into the area until quite a bit of time had passed).

As a result of what we've been through, I now tend to doubt most things that I can't verify.
