Budapest, 1945. It's the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Jewish Ghetto in Budapest by Soviet troops. The ghetto was completely cut off from the outside world. No food was allowed in, garbage was not collected, and dead bodies were piled up on the streets. Thousands died of cold, disease, and starvation. The liberation of Budapest was complete on 13 February.
