Personal calendar invites turned out to have a fatal flaw rooted in email.

Everyone has many emails, most don’t understand the relationships of one or more emails to one or more calendars. The iOS Mail.app even hides email addresses, so things are particularly hopeless there.

Invites very often go to a mystery calendar.

I’d love a retrospective. Was there ever a time this fail could have been avoided?
