Trying to raise kids in a tech-positive way practically requires you to be a full-time sysadmin and IT Support team. We like them to have access to tech, but given how totally addictive everything tries to be it makes sense to somewhat control how much access they get. Initially we were pretty open but we noticed our kids getting addicted to YouTube shorts so we used ScreenTime to limit access, then they started using the browser, so we limited access to that as well
