Been abysmal mothing conditions recently. Forecast last night was okay “mild, light winds, light rain and drizzle by dawn”. Cue thunderous downpour at 3:00am that sent me jumping out of bed and running for an umbrella to try and protect the moth box contents. Apart from a dozen caddis flies, the only visitor last stayed night was this CLANCY’S RUSTIC clinging to a scaffold board!
