Ok, for realzies this time. The #BackupBrain extension is working in chrome with Manifest v3!!!
I ripped out a ton of overly complex code that the original dev made that i didn't need and voilà things started working. 💃 💃
This is SUCH a HUGE relief.
Now to find out of the same code works in Firefox ;)
