the nice thing about Balatro is you only have to pay once, for the game itself... Despite being poker-based. Poker but then the cards start gaining magical powers that you can level up in between hands.

It's one of those indie games that I personally wasn't a huge fan of, but I'm definitely in the minority of people who have tried it.
