I agree, it sounds ridiculous, because www browsers have none of these restrictions. Nor do smtp/imap apps.
But what’s being described _is_ the precedent for things like Reddit, Discord, Telegram etc. Which, whether you like it or not, will be how they are reviewing this.
What we don’t want, is for the whole protocol to get banned, which is the case with torrents on iOS.
