The most dangerous Monero Honeypot

I once believed the Nostr community was comprised of tech enthusiasts with a solid understanding of networking principles. However, I've come to realize that there's a concerning spread of misinformation surrounding the Haveno network, which is being marketed as 'decentralized.' In reality, it functions more like a standard LAN network, adhering to traditional networking rules.

To clarify my terminology:

When I say 'LAN network,' I mean 'Haveno network.'
When I refer to 'laptops,' I'm talking about 'nodes.'
When I mention 'trusted VPN,' I mean 'trusted software.'
When I use 'communicate,' I really mean 'trade.'
When I say 'Wi-Fi password,' I'm referring to 'fees.'

6 Key Networking Principles:

At home, I have a sizable 'LAN network' that connects multiple 'laptops' via Wi-Fi. I regularly add new 'laptops' to the network.

Unfortunately, the 'laptops' in my 'LAN network' cannot 'communicate' with other 'LAN networks' because it's isolated from the internet by a firewall, similar to those used in highly restrictive environments.

To access my 'LAN network' from the outside, you'll need to install my 'VPN.' As the provider, I will log all communications, so it’s essential to be cautious about who you choose to 'communicate' with.

While my 'LAN network' isn't decentralized, the 'laptops' connected to it can 'communicate' in a manner resembling peer-to-peer (P2P). However, all traffic still routes through the 'LAN network,' so it doesn't offer the true P2P experience found on the open internet.

You only need two 'laptops' to establish 'communication' within my 'LAN network.'

As the network administrator, I maintain complete control over the 'LAN network.'

Occasionally, I need to change the 'Wi-Fi password', and all the 'Laptops' in my 'LAN network' must use the updated 'Wi-Fi password' to continue being able to 'communicate' with each other.
