Spotify is a corporation so independent artists should not expect to ever make a lot of money from their music and talents. Hollywood will only promote and give big payouts to Hollywood trash.
Here is my idea. We need a music streaming app that is decentralized where artists can upload their music.
How will they make money? Well the app can have a Bitcoin wallet and you upload for example 100 Satoshi.
That 100 Satoshi will allow you to play 100 songs. So everytime you listen to the song. The app and artist split the 1 Satoshi. This will allow both the artist and app to make money.
My idea of this app is not for freeloaders. It's for people who want to support artists.
I refuse to ever buy a subscription for Spotify because they have censored many artists but I would support a decentralized type Spotify app.
