It's hard to debate on X, because its algorithm only surfaces points of view you agree with. Nostr is still small but thankfully its decentralized nature allows it to be coupled with other decentralized tech like mastodon (activitypub), but only so far as it is decentralized. The chokepoint is, not surprisingly, at the points centralization: DNS and the servers holding the accounts.
