I had a discussion with a friend’s husband yesterday. He said confidently that Ukraine will have to give up land to Putin to end the war. I said “why do they need to give us any land to Putin?” He said that when Trump gets in, Putin will listen to him, because Putin is afraid of Trump! I burst out laughing.
