One is compromised when someone can threaten to expose dirt on him. If dirt is already exposed, he is tarnished, not compromised.

I was aware of Scott's setup ~22 years ago after he wrote that little book explaining how WMD's in Iraq is near impossible. Many people have been setup this way, and I know one in jail.

Even if someone is a true pedo, that is irrelevant to knowledge on a topic.
