#writerscoffeeclub - Day 11 November. Do you agree with Samuel Johnson, who said, "What is written without effort is generally read without pleasure"?

Sometimes words simply flow without effort - certainly they don't mean any less than those we have to dig for.

I guess it all depends on the reader's expectations - are they hoping for a literary classic or just happy to read a great story?
