In a sane country, Trump's campaign would have been over before it started. Even in America's recent history I can't think of a time when a person like this would have been allowed to continue shaming the country publicly and still get nearly 50% of the vote.
I'm extremely hopeful for a Kamala Harris presidency, but I'm also embarrassed at the current state of things.
