With regard to the actual Wikipedia article content, I don't believe that CBM's HMOS process had anything to do with Intel, other than that Intel was first to name scaled down NMOS "HMOS". Other companies including Motorola also used the name "HMOS" for their own scaled NMOS, and later, also used HCMOS for scaled CMOS.
