There are a whole bunch of CMSs that you can run your blog with. Some even have a lot of plugins and features. But in order to not only give a bunch of nerds an off-ramp off of Mullenweg's platform but to really include everyone any replacement also needs to run on some shitty, cheap hosting service that you can just FTP so shit to.
"Use our docker image (otherwise our solution based on duct-taping a bunch of JavaScript together won't run)" is not compatible with normal people who have a fucking life
